INDICATIONS
Temporarily relieves cough/cold/flu symptoms: cough, sneezing, headache, muscular aches, sore throat pain, fever, runny nose, nasal congestion.
INGREDIENTS
Active Ingredients:Per Teaspoon: Acetaminophen 162.5 mg; Chlorpheniramine Maleate 1 mg; Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg; Pseudoephedrine HCl 15 mg.Inactive Ingredients:Alcohol; Blue 1; Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium; Citric Acid; Flavor; High Fructose Corn Syrup; Polyethylene Glycol; Polyethylene Oxide; Propylene Glycol; Purified Water; Red 40; Saccharin Sodium; Sodium Citrate; Sodium 8 mg Per Teaspoon.
DIRECTIONS
Do not use in children under 12 yrs. 12 yrs. and older: take 4 teaspoons (tsp) or 20 mL (dose cup), repeat every 6 hours; no more than 4 doses per day.
WARNINGS
Alcohol warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. Sore throat warning: Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat that occurs with high fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting may be serious. Ask a doctor right away. Do not use more than 2 days or give to children under 12 years of age unless directed by a doctor. Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Ask a doctor before use if you have: heart disease, asthma, emphysema, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, high blood pressure, excessive phlegm (mucus), breathing problems, chronic bronchitis, persistent or chronic cough, cough associated with smoking, trouble urinating due to enlarged prostate gland. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product: do not use more than directed; excitability may occur, especially in children; drowsiness may occur; avoid alcoholic drinks; be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery; do not use with other products containing acetaminophen; alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness. Stop use and ask a doctor if: you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless; fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days; new symptoms occur; you need to use more than 7 days; symptoms do not get better; cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
