INDICATIONS
Temporarily relieves these symptoms: fever; minor aches and pains; headache and sore throat; cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation; nasal and sinus congestion; sneezing; itchy nose or throat; itchy, watery eyes.
INGREDIENTS
Active Ingredients:Per Teaspoon (5 ml): Acetaminophen USP 160 mg; Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride USP 15 mg; Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide USP 7.5 mg; Chlorpheniramine Maleate USP 1 mg.Inactive Ingredients:Acesulfame K.; Benzoic Acid; Citric Acid; Dibasic Potassium Phosphate; Disodium Edetate; Flavors; Glycerin; Polyethylene Glycol; Potassium Chloride; Propylene Glycol; Purified Water; D&C Red No. 33; FD&C No. 40; Sucrose and Other Ingredients.
DIRECTIONS
Take every 6 hours; not more than 4 doses in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 2 teaspoons. Children under 6 years of age: ask a doctor.
WARNINGS
Do not use in a child who is taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if the child's prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before giving this product. Other products containing acetaminophen. Ask a doctor before use if the child has: heart disease; high blood pressure; thyroid disease; diabetes; glaucoma; cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus); chronic cough that lasts or a breathing problem such as asthma or chronic bronchitis. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child is taking sedative or tranquilizer. When using this product: do not use more than directed; excitability may occur, especially in children; avoid alcoholic drinks; marked drowsiness may occur; alcohol, sedative, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness. Stop use and ask a doctor if: nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occurs; symptoms do not improve for 5 days (pain) or 3 days (fever); cough persists for more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with headache, fever, rash, nausea or vomiting. These could be signs of a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away. Prompt medical attention is critical even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
