INDICATIONS

Temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold.

INGREDIENTS

Active Ingredients:Per Teaspoonful (5 mL): Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide USP 10 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:Flavors; Glycerin; Honey; Liquid Glucose; Methylparaben; Propylene Glycol; Purified Water; Sodium Benzoate.

DIRECTIONS

Follow recommended dosage below or use as directed by a doctor. Repeat every 6-8 hours. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do not exceed 4 doses in a 24 hour period. Under 6: Not recommended. 6 to under 12 years: 1.5 teaspoons. 12 to Adult: 3 teaspoons.

WARNINGS

Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, emphysema, or if cough if accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a physician. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache, consult a physician. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Drug Interaction Precaution: Do not use this product if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a health professional before taking this product. KEEP THIS AND ALL DRUGS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL OVERDOSE, SEEK PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE OR CONTACT A POISON CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY.
