INDICATIONS
100 Strips for in vitro diagnostic use - reagent strips for urine analysis.
Carb Solutions™ test strips help detect dietary ketosis. Dietary ketosis is a natural adjustment to the body's reduced intake of carbohydrates as the body shifts its primary source of energy from carbohydrates to fat.
Carb Solutions™ test strips contain a special chemical test pad that will change color in the presence of ketones in the urine.
Ketones will be present in the urine only when there are more ketones in the blood than are required by the body as fuel. There-fore, even if only a small amount of color change shows on the Carb Solutions™ test strip, you are in ketosis and fat-burning is taking place.
INGREDIENTS
Ketone (Sodium nitroprusside 23.0 mg).
DIRECTIONS
Directions: Must be followed exactly.Dip reagent end of strip in FRESH specimen and remove immediately. (Alternatively, wet reagent area of strip by passing through urine stream.)
While removing, draw the edge of the strip against the rim of the urine container to remove excess urine.
40-60 seconds after removing from specimen, compare reagent side of test area with corresponding color chart on bottle.
WARNINGS
Warning: Consult your doctor before starting any diet or ketosis program.Important: Do not touch test area of strip. Do not remove desiccant. Remove only enough strips for immediate use. Use within 6 months after opening. Do not use after expiration date. Replace cap immediately and tightly.
